Privacy Policy
Carpet Lab Limited respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you use our enquiry form, we collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, phone number, email address, suburb, service interest and message. Our web server also records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages and access time.
If you actively select the unfinished-form reminder option, we save your email address and the non-sensitive form progress entered at that point before you submit the form. The option is voluntary and records when and how consent was given.
How we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, prepare estimates, arrange services, keep service records and follow up on work. When you select the unfinished-form reminder, we use the saved details only to send one reminder to complete the estimate request. Every reminder identifies Carpet Lab and includes a working way to stop reminders. Standard server logs are used for security, reliability and troubleshooting.
Who can access it
Information is available only to Carpet Lab and authorised Meros Group team members who need it to handle your enquiry or provide the service. We use HubSpot as our customer relationship management provider to receive and manage website enquiries. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and security
Completed enquiries are stored in the website administration system, sent to our business email and recorded in HubSpot. Saved unfinished forms are kept separately in the private website administration system and are not sent to HubSpot unless the form is completed. HubSpot may process or store information outside New Zealand under its own security and privacy controls. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
How long we keep it
Saved unfinished-form details are kept for no more than 30 days, then deleted automatically. Other personal information is retained only for as long as it is reasonably needed for service, administration, legal or security purposes.

Analytics and cookies
We measure site usage with Plausible, an analytics tool the Meros Group runs on its own server in New Zealand. It counts visits in aggregate (pages viewed, referral source, browser type, country), sets no cookies, builds no profile of you, and does not follow you to other websites. Your IP address is used briefly to tell visits apart and is not stored.
HubSpot uses first-party cookies and similar technology to record how visitors reached and used this website. When you send an enquiry, we use that information to connect the enquiry with its source, manage follow-up and understand which marketing produces qualified leads. HubSpot may receive your IP address, page viewed, referral and campaign details. WordPress may use essential cookies for signed-in administrators.
